He begins by explaining what brought his attention to the subject matter of health and wealth and credits neuroscience and the studies done that show the impact of early brain development on education and adult mental and physical health. He also looks at the Cost/Benefit and rate of return from the Perry Pre-school program, on the individual and the public.
